PTB

Low and mean, Weber carb and some postorder parts like the knucklehead valvecovers, I realy dont care for the post order parts but the knuck engine is wery hard to find and a new one is to expensive. I use new headders from V8 engines chevy or other make for the exhaust bends they are dirt cheap and you get all the different bends you want.

PTB

Also been making some progress on this bike, fitted the milled primary, new engine and tranny.
I needed to change the place for the oiltank it didnt fit with this gearbox and starter.

Milling

After I been milling this Taiwan Ted part for a while it starts to look like something. This is wery bad material to mill, like old coke cans. Buy cheap get shit, but you have to work with wath you got. I will also cut down the width of the primary belt, its now 3,25" wide with out side suportbearings I think it would look better with 1,5" wide belt. Will post pics as I get the parts done.

Chopping

Been working on my friends bike. I had an newer used Taiwan Ted primary that I cut up to make it fit the style of the bike.

Frame jig

Here is pic of the frame jig, this is an work in progress with the jig. It needs some remodeling again, this is things you learn as you go on.

Frame

Now its looking better, changed the part that was cracked and rewelded the whole neck. I welded the whole neck in the frame-jig to awoid any warping of the neck during welding.

Frame

I got a frame that needed some rework on the neck and other weldings on it, found some cracks on the weld, doesnt show on the picture but it needed to be fixed.

BSA Strocker Flywheel

The flywheeles are about ready to get balanced. There is an original flywheele on the rightside of the picture to show the change in strocke. The strocke is now 4 1/4 inch. Now its time to start change the engine block to get this to work........... I will keep uppdaiting as I make progress.

BSA Strocker Flywheel

I had an reamer made to get the right degreese in the hole for the rod pin (this was no easy task)........

BSA Strocker Flywheel

Some pics of the milling.....

BSA Strocker Flywheel

The flywheele is redy welded. It took me about two days to get the parts welded with interpass and preheating temperatures and the slow down heating to avoid any cracks or tension in the flywheele. Ready for the mill and lathe.

BSA Strocker Flywheel

My friend Hannu asked me if I can modify his flywheele, to make a longer strocke to it. Yeah why not, haven´t newer done this so I made it sort of an chalenge to my self.
I grinded the old hole for the pin so it could be tig welded, and the part is preheated befor welding.
