Have been working with the Atom bike wery much the last week's to get it ready for Petrol Circus show. Here are some pics of the bike.

More parts.......

Not all what you get from IKEA is shit found a lot of cheap stainless parts from there. Guess what these are.

Where wisiting a friend who makes different laboratory equipment from glass...... he will also make me some parts for Atom.

I also had to make breathers for the topend because I will use a different setup of carbs than the original, then again I cant find any ready made parts that I want so I have to make my own. You know then Yankee's use inches and I live in a metric world......

Monday fun with Atom parts

Making parts for Atom, had much problems with the rear brake so had to sleep over it....... then I got it. I have quite a few of HD disks that are almost new but to big in diameter for this bike. But when you have a mill and some good tools that's not a problem. Here you can se what I did to it. I needed to rework the spacer also. And find a new rear caliper. And fugure out if it will work...............

This was on sunday when I did some small stuff and cleand up the lathe. The lathe is a french lady can't belive they make sooooo god lathes there when there cars suck so much. Anyway I just finished the rear sprocket and spacer.

Here are the spacers almost ready, needed to get a different rear brake disc. The one I had got didn't work so back to the drawing bord.....

So here is the finished part I made, for both sides of course, and for the rear rim also but its an different story that will be told tomorrow........

Here is the front hub, and I don't realy like the look of it after the wires are put in place and it needs a spacer any way. So I need to make something. You can se here what I meen.

I have an idea about how I want the oillines done but couldn't find any parts for it so I made my own....

Here are some more pics of the sissy and some welding pics. I also mounted the rear fender. Made some new bungs for it and other small parts...

Sissy time

Today it was time to make a sissybar for the bike. I used 10 and 12mm stainless roundbar for this sissy. Also the bungs are stainless.

Here is the stance of the 1957 wishbone frame. Looks nice and ready for some more work.

Here the neck has been re welded and re racked. Also made it as close to the original as possible.

Here is a otherwise wery nice frame but the neck rake has been made wery poorly. Look at the pics and you can see the cracks in the welds...
